International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. This year’s theme “an equal world is an enabled world” marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.

NA’AMAT USA supports this goal by providing scholarships to over 200 academically gifted Israeli women. These scholarships enable women to follow their dreams and pursue bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees in challenging programs of study.

Our scholarship fund is known throughout the academic world as our talented students go on to make valuable contributions in all facets of math, science, medicine, and law. Raz-Dvir, a grant recipient in genetics and bio informatics said, “The focus of my study is the role of the immune system and how immune cells in the brain can be used to treat Alzheimer’s Disease.” Raz said that “NA’AMAT USA made my dream come true.”

As we mark Women’s International Day, we ask for your help in providing much needed scholarships for women like Raz-Dvir.
