Dr. Daniel Gordis is an American-born Israeli author and speaker, who is best known as a fierce defender of Israel. He is Senior Vice President and Koret distinguish fellow at Shalem college in Jerusalem.
He is the author of numerous books on Jewish thought and has twice won the National Jewish Book Award, most recently for Israel: A Concise History of a Nation Reborn, which was awarded the prize as Jewish Book of the Year.
