Making Educational Dreams Come True

More than 200 young Israeli women have a clearer path toward attaining their educational goals thanks to the generosity of members of NA’AMAT USA. Eleven women pursuing PhDs in science and women’s studies are recipients of 2017 NA’AMAT Research Grants. An additional 200 women studying for undergraduate and graduate degrees received NA’AMAT Educational Scholarships.

NA’AMAT USA Walks to Support Women, Children and Families in Israel

It was a beautiful spring morning as the Western Area of NA’AMAT USA hosted its first 5K Walk June 4th at Lake Balboa Park in Encino. Dozens of people, ranging in age from babies in strollers on up, walked three times around scenic Lake Balboa to complete the 3.1-mile course.

Cleveland Council Hosts Tikkun Olam Award

NA’AMAT USA’s Cleveland Council drew an overflow crowd for its annual Tikkun Olam Award Presentation, held April 25th at the Beechmont Country Club in Orange, Ohio. The event, honoring Rabbi Rosette Barron Haim of The Temple-Tifereth Israel, also set a record for fundraising with the evening’s donations earmarked for NA’AMAT’s scholarship and grant programs in Israel.
Spotlight Interview: Erela Glickman

Erela Glickman is the principal at NA’AMAT’s Technology High School and College in Rishon LeZion, Israel’s fourth largest city. The school serves disadvantaged students from the surrounding area, offering high school courses and two-years of college-level training in engineering and other technical disciplines.
