Tour Israel With NA’AMAT

Join us on two special trips (10 – 14 days) scheduled to start on April 24, 2018 and June 26, 2018.

Travel to Israel with a tour groupCelebrate Israel’s 70th with a trip to Israel and visit NA’AMAT. Co-sponsored by NA’AMAT USA and Authentic Israel, travelers will explore Israel: its history, culture, and landscape. See Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, the Dead Sea and the Galilee, taste Israel’s exquisite cuisine, and visit off-the-beaten-path sites you may not see on other tours.

In addition, the My Turn tour in April includes a full-day visit to Kanot Youth Village, a NA’AMAT boarding high school that specializes in vocational and technological training for disadvantaged and at-risk teens from diverse backgrounds.

Kanot features a program that prepares students to enter Hebrew University’s renowned School of Veterinary Medicine. They take the fundamental courses in the sciences as well as laboratory work and the chance to treat animals in veterinary clinics. Kanot is also home to the Equestrian Center. Finally, Kanot also offers a three year program in police studies and criminology and prepares the students to join the Police Force. More detailed information about this My Turn in Israel trip is available here.

The trip in June visits NA’AMAT’s unique Hashalom (Peace) Day Care Center in Jaffa. This is a very special Center as both the staff and the children enrolled are a mixed group of Israeli Moslem, Christian, and Jews. NA’AMAT established this Center to help build bridges, encourage mutual understanding, respect and awareness of the different cultures and the people who live and work side by side in the community. Discover firsthand how NA’AMAT brings smiles to the faces of disadvantaged children and their families! THEY HAD LESS THAN ONE MINUTE TO FIND SAFETY.

YOU CAN HELP IN LESS THAN FIVE.

Staff and children huddle together in a safe room at a NA’AMAT daycare center. The daily air-raid sirens and ever-present threat of rocket attacks feed anxiety and insecurity that is profoundly disturbing for the children. Can you spare five minutes to help?
