The Righteous Gentiles (RESCHEDULED)

Now on Tuesday, May 6th
5:00pm Pacific (8:00pm Eastern)

The Eilat Chapter, Great Los Angeles Region and the Cleveland Council present a special Yom HaShoah Zoom Event Remembering The Rightsous Gentiles

The “Righteous Among the Nations” were non-Jewish individuals who risked their lives during World War Il to save Jews from the Holocaust. These brave men and women defied Nazi policies and societal pressure to hide, protect, and aid Jewish families facing extermination. Many sheltered Jews in their homes, provided false documentation, or guided them to safety in neutral territories. Their acts of courage often came at great personal risk, with severe consequences, including execution, if discovered. The term, established by Israel’s Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial, honors their selflessness and humanity during one of history’s darkest periods, reminding the world of the power of moral courage and compassion.
Join us to hear from families whose parents and grandparents were personally saved by these heroes.
