Meet a Member Friday: Barb Kitsberg

Each Friday, we shine a light on the incredible women who make NA’AMAT USA what it is — in their own words.

Every story reminds us why NA’AMAT is so powerful: a sisterhood built by women, for women, uniting generations through compassion, leadership, and purpose.

Meet Barb Kitsberg!

I’m not exactly sure when I joined [NA’AMAT], but I guess 16 or 17 years ago.

Probably my best story would be that when I went to the NA’AMAT Seminar in Israel in 2014, I met someone from CA who quickly became a very close friend. We have since traveled with our husbands and had lots of fun adventures — all because two other women were upset that they weren’t rooming together and asked us each to trade roommates so they could be together.

Best trade ever.

Thank you, Barb!

Every member’s story is a reminder that NA’AMAT is more than an organization. It’s a movement of women lifting one another up, building bridges between continents, and ensuring that every woman and child can live with dignity, security, and hope.

Make a gift today to power NA’AMAT’s work for women, children, and families in Israel.  Your support fuels daycare centers, shelters, and skills programs that change lives. Our work in Israel is made possible by our community of women here in the U.S. who give, gather, and grow together. This is the engine that drives our impact.
