We were pleased to join the opening of this year’s Zionist General Council, which was held in the Druze town of Hurfeish, a symbol of Israel’s rich diversity and brotherhood with Druze communities. The opening session was led by NA’AMAT USA President Chellie Goldwater Wilensky.
A big crowd of Eilat members and guests arrived at Rosie’s Restaurant to have an early Chanukah celebration. Traditional latkes were a treat and worked perfectly with our BBQ dinners. Sufganiot, halvah and other sweets topped off the meal. Party arranger, Linda Kavalsky and sidekick Susan Miller did an excellent job in keeping us entertained.…

The Glickman Center – in Tel Aviv – for the prevention and treatment of domestic violence. Under one roof, there is a shelter for battered women and their children, counseling and treatment for battered women, violent men and children exposed to violence.
