Fellowship Winner Announced
NA’AMAT USA is pleased to announce that Ms. Cara Rock-Singer of Philadelphia, PA is the recipient of the Second NA’AMAT USA Research Fellowship in Honor of Elizabeth J. Raider. In addition, Dr. Tanya Zion-Waldoks of Beer-Sheva, Israel has been awarded an Honorable Mention.
Western Council Speaker Series: “Women Empowering Women”
NA’AMAT USA’s Western Area will host a special presentation on the scourge of human trafficking, October 1st at Marie Callendar’s in Northridge, as the first event in its new speaker series entitled Women Empowering Women.
Making Educational Dreams Come True
More than 200 young Israeli women have a clearer path toward attaining their educational goals thanks to the generosity of members of NA’AMAT USA. Eleven women pursuing PhDs in science and women’s studies are recipients of 2017 NA’AMAT Research Grants. An additional 200 women studying for undergraduate and graduate degrees received NA’AMAT Educational Scholarships.
