NA’AMAT USA’s Western Area will host a special presentation on the scourge of human trafficking, October 1st at Marie Callendar’s in Northridge, as the first event in its new speaker series entitled Women Empowering Women.
Reseda resident Zita Gluskin and Rabbi Nina Feinstein were honored for lifelong contributions to Jewish communities in the United States and Israel at the Distinguished Community Leader Award Luncheon hosted by the San Fernando Valley Council of NA’AMAT USA.

NA’AMAT Midwest recently hosted a fundraising event in Chicago. Participants played a creative variant of bingo, called “HamBINGO” with the proceeds benefiting the construction of a new women’s health center in Sderot, Israel. A good time was had by all!
